Behind That Suit started in 2016 when rappers Holden Stephan Roy & Chris Chrome were looking for new ways to promote themselves. Participating in the underground Hip Hop scene, they each set out on a quest to better understand the culture via album reviews. This birthed several album review podcasts following a track by track format focusing on both new and older music.
After several years of reviewing albums and creating music building their YouTube presence, a pivot was underway. Both artists desired to perform more and set out to network. This led to the start of the ongoing interview show Bridge the Gap. Growing into a livestream experience over the pandemic, this podcast focuses on capturing the story of creative professionals.
As of 2022, the duo smashed into Montreal’s local scene. After participating in a number of shows, Behind That Suit evolved from content publisher to all out concert promoter. In the present time, the Behind That Suit team produces and publishes their own content. They promote their own live events and concoct intuitive marketing campaigns.
